Orders and pricing
What is your minimum order?
We ship full containers. A 40 ft reefer carries about 24,000 kg on average, and one container can combine several fruits.
What do you need to send a quote?
The number of containers and the destination. If you have a specification for cut, size, packaging or analyses, send it too and we quote against it.
In which currency do you quote?
In US dollars (USD).
How fast do you reply?
Within 24 hours, Monday to Friday, in English or Spanish.
Products and specifications
Which cuts and sizes are available?
Strawberries: whole (large and medium), slices and grade B. Mango: 20 × 20 and 25 × 25 mm chunks, and slices. Pineapple: 20 × 20 and 25 × 25 mm chunks. Blueberries: whole, grade A large. Avocado: 15 × 15 and 20 × 20 mm chunks, halves and puree. Passion fruit: puree with or without seeds. Banana: slices. Papaya: 20 × 20 mm chunks.
What is the shelf life?
Two years at −18 °C.
Is the product 100% fruit?
Yes. The exceptions are avocado and banana, which can include citric acid, ascorbic acid and salt.
Is the passion fruit puree pasteurized?
No. None of our products are pasteurized.
Do you offer organic fruit?
Our fruit is conventional, except mango, which is also available organic: for Europe with a Certificate of Inspection (COI) and for the USA under USDA NOP.
Do you have technical spec sheets?
We work to your specification. Send us your requirements for cut, size, packaging and analyses, and we quote and produce against them.
Can you make a custom cut, size or fruit mix?
Yes. We develop cuts and fruit mixes to each customer’s technical specification.
Which channels do you supply?
Retail, wholesale and food service (HoReCa).
Packaging and private label
Can you pack under our own brand?
Yes. We pack retail bags with your brand, in the destination language and with your barcodes.
Which bulk formats do you offer?
10 kg and 30 lb cartons.
Which retail bag sizes can you pack?
The sizes you need: 600 g, 1 lb, 1 kg, 2 kg, 5 kg and others.
Who provides the nutrition table for retail bags?
You send us your nutrition table and we print it on the bag.
Can one container carry several fruits?
Yes, we load mixed containers.
How much fits in a 40 ft container?
About 24,000 kg on average.
Are your pallets ISPM 15 treated?
Yes.
Shipping and documents
Which port do you ship from?
Callao, Peru’s main container port, next to Lima.
How long from order to shipment?
We plan production and loading around the date you need the container at destination. Include your target arrival date when you request a quote.
Which documents come with each shipment?
Commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, phytosanitary certificate (SENASA), sanitary certificate, certificate of analysis per batch, and organic or kosher certificates when they apply.
At what temperature does the container travel?
At −18 °C.
Who books the ocean freight?
We work directly with shipping lines.
Do you issue certificates of origin for trade agreement benefits?
Yes. A certificate of origin comes with every shipment.
Do you ship less than a full container?
No. We ship full containers, which can combine several fruits.
Quality and food safety
Which certifications do you hold?
BRCGS, HACCP and Kosher.
Who does the lab testing?
An external laboratory. Analyses follow each customer’s specification.
Do you meet pesticide residue limits for the EU, USA and Asia?
Yes.
Do you use metal detection?
Yes. The line has a metal detector.
Can you trace a batch back to the field?
Yes, to the field and harvest date, and we run mock recalls.
About Agrifrost
Are you a grower, a processor or a trader?
All three. We grow fruit on our own fields and source from partner growers, process it in Lima and export it.
Where is the fruit processed?
In Lima, at a partner processing plant.
Where does your fruit come from?
Strawberries from Huaura (Lima); mango from Piura, Olmos, Motupe and Casma; blueberries and passion fruit from the Peruvian coast; avocado from the coast and highlands; banana from Piura; pineapple and papaya from the Peruvian jungle.
When was Agrifrost founded?
In 2025.

Yes, buyers can carry out audits.
